The first thing I will do once summer vacation starts is to have an easy day. You pressure yourself to do well all school year, and for once you have your time where you don’t need to study or do difficult work that makes your brain hurt. You can spend your day reading on a hammock, or you can ride every ride at six flags, your choice! Summer is your time to give your brain the break it deserves. It may sound crazy, but I would prefer spending my day relaxing with a book, sitting by the pool! A break is the perfect way to get yourself into the mood for summer. Plus, if you are out for long enough, you just might get a little tan from the Sun! But make sure to wear sunblock :) !! I can not wait to actually do these things and spend time with friends!

I agree! One of the best parts of summer vacation is relaxing. During the school year there are always so many things that have to get accomplished. In the summer it is wonderful to just hang at the beach, relax by the pool, or cruise on the boat! Good Job!

On first day of summer vacation I plan to just relax. We focus so much on school and stress ourselves out all year round for 9 months but we don't really get time to relax. The only time we had to just sit around and do whatever is recess and weekends. I see summer as a time to have fun and hang out with friends. Having fun can really take the stress off your back! So this summer all I plan to do on the first day is just take a break from school. I won't have to worry about grades or homework. I will take the time to appreciate the free time I have. Without free time I would most likely break down from all the stress I'm carrying on my shoulders.This is what I'll be doing on the first day of summer vacation.What will you be doing?

Umhhhhh. I do agree. School really adds plenty of stress to students. Plus, some people used “don’t go to school”, or “take me time to relax” for the __ days until summer thing.
On the first day of summer break I would relax by reading a book outside probably the last Harry Potter book. Having my first stress free day since school started do nothing. Then I probably plan what I want to do over the summer like going to the beach, play miniature golf, and hang out with lots of family and friends. With all of this planned I would sleep in the next day for once. Having the chance to sleep in for days is what I have been looking forward to in the summer. After I finished reading outside I would go on a bike ride since I haven't really been able to do that lately. I would go down the rail trail towards the out of business Sonic. Once I get back I would take a nap after all these wonderful activities. This would be a wonderful first day to summer break.

The first thing I am probably going to do is either play on my rollerskates or watch episodes of the Walking dead with my family. I love watching movies with my family so MUCH!!! And my whole family loves it too. After that I would probably stay up all night every night and wake up at 12:00. Just so I can enjoy the first day of summer. During summer My family and I will all probably go to great adventure and other theme parks. ( I am hoping they will plan a trip to disney, probably not though) But I guess that would be the first and other few thing I would do during this summer. There would not be a lot I would do this summer though. (Because my brothers run all over the place)But all my summers are great!! I was just in Disney and some things have changed (like the hat of Hollywood Studios is gone) :(, and a little more. But it is great and if I go to bed at 10 or 11 I'll still wake up from 10-12! Going to bed at 10-11 is the normal time I go to bed anyway! Relaxing is great! I hope that you do go to Disney World and have a relaxing summer!

The Walking Dead is probably one of my favorite shows. Although my family is terrified by the show, i really like it!Sounds fun to play on roller skates!
The first thing I will do when I get off for summer break is have a off day, with no stress, and just relaxation. I would either read a book, do nothing and relax, or play video games. The only reason for me not to do those things when I got off for summer break is if I’m going to the beach, nothing beats going to the beach with me. The only downside of the beach is the annoying greenheads that are always on your skin. If I couldn’t do that I would try to get my mom to take me roller skating since I love it so much and I’m good at it! Or I would go to a theme park like Disney or Six Flags for example, hopefully disney I have only gone there a few times before. Now that I think of all of things I can do I can’t wait until I can actually do them, and get back to doing them. I hope you enjoyed reading my comment, what will you over break let me know.
I would do everything you just listed. I agree about the green heads especially because they hurt! Roller skating is awesome. I go to Jackson to roller skate every once in a while. It is so much fun! I am also pretty good at it! I loved your ideas and I hope you have a great summer. :)

The first thing I will do when summer vacation starts is go and swim in my pool. I have to admit, this has been my best year and I thank Mr. McClellan and Mrs. Kemether for that! I absolutely would do this school over and over again! But anyways, I would put my Justice bikini on and hop into my pool. I’d practice diving, (I love diving) have cannonball contests, have a raft race, regular swim race, throw things to the bottom and retrieve them, do front\backflips, and just swim around. I never win at cannonball contests because look at my height and how much I weigh! I’m tiny! I normally win at regular swimming races because I am a fast swimmer. My siblings and I will get old legos or skylanders and throw them to the bottom and whoever gets the most by the time that they are all gone, WINS! It’s a lot of fun because you need to be able to swim fast and you need to be able to hold your breath for a long time! I am excited, but I wish that this school year would go on forever!

Oh my gosh! That sounds like a TON of fun! I also play games where you have to get things from the bottom of the pool, it's always a fun game. Having a good teacher is always sad at the end of the year, but you know that summer is coming!

The first thing I will do on summer break is go to my family's Father's Day picnic. The Father’s Day picnic is when all the members of my my dad's side of the family gather for a day of fun. Of course we make the day for the fathers a little! But it's a lot of fun! Usually we go to Lakewood where there is a park right next to the pavilion! On the other side there is a WIDE open field where we play tag or football. Also there is a water pump that we make a river out of then we add a lot of grass and dirt to make MUD. Also there is the adults and kids compitan races were we do sack race when we hop to the end in sacks, and three feet race where we tie our feet together and RACE! At the end of the day we do sparklers then leave. Hope you liked my blog.

The first thing I'm going to do this summer is go to Hershey Park. When my family goes to Hershey Park we usually grab something to eat first and walk around. Afterwards, we go on rollercoasters and jump in the water at the waterpark. We have so much fun when we go tubing through the water slides. We then go relax and go sit for a little. I will usually start surfing right after. My brother goes to the arcade which is also fun. Last year we tried going on this one ride and once we were about to get on they closed it because of mechanical difficulties. Once it’s time to leave we try to stall all of our parents but it only worked once. Then we get ice cream and take a bus to the parking lot. My brother ends up dropping his ice cream right when we get off the bus. But we all have a fun time and get along surprisingly.
Sounds like fun! Hersey Park is a nice trip and always a lot of fun. Last summer we went to Virginia Beach for a week and we had a blast at Busch Gardens. I really enjoy rollercoasters! Good Job!

I've never been to Hershey park. It sounds great. I like roller coasters, the arcade, ice cream (especially ice cream!), and water parks. I especially love Hurricane Harbor. But anyways, I love water parks more than anything because the gliding and getting surprised is always great to me. I hope you have a great time at Hershey Taylor. Have fun!
When Summer vacation starts I will bike to Waretown lake and go on the swings. Then I would blow bubbles on the beach and have a picnic, pretty old-school. The fun part about it is jumping off the slides and taking walks in the woods and see how many old easter eggs you find. Waretown lake seems like heaven to me, but when the sun sets the beach lights up with a red and yellow glow like fire spread out on a sheet of pure white silk it feels like home. In summer most people want to hang out with friends, me I’d sit at the beach with a book covered in a towel and watching the day pass on the life gaurd tower. I don’t know summer just bothers me because most of my friends are at school. It makes me sad to not see my school friends, I wish waretown lake had a buddy bench. That is basically what i would do when summer starts.
The Waretown Lake is a wonderful place to kick-off your summer vacation! I am sure you will see many people from school down there to hang out with. I also have always liked the idea of a Buddy Bench. I think it is a great idea!
I live on the street right next to the Waretown lake! It is an awesome place in every season, to me. I love the summer because you can swim and play in the sand or just relax. I love it in the winter because I can snowboard. I love snowboarding! Have fun at the Waretown lake!

Hmm, what a question. I really don't know until it comes! Sometimes i am gonna say start my summer reading, or binge watch slither.io and/or agar.io videos! Maybe i’ll eat… food. Or ill go on instagram, or try on new looks, or maybe hang out with my friends and talk to them about what next year might be like! I actually have never thought about this question until it was asked directly. I think i might go on a bike ride or a walk with my friend. Who knows? I like to wonder what it would be like to be a (almost) sixth grader. I asked my mother this question and she thought i would throw my backpack up in the air with excitement!

I'm not sure my plan to do everything I want on my first day of vacation but I can try right. I wasn't really sure either at first but you just got to go with the flow.

The first thing that I'm going to do on summer break is.......... I think it will probably be swimming. I think I would pick swimming because during winter and spring you can't do that so I want to start my summer off with a good summer activity. And if it winds up being to cold or something like that where I can't go swimming I would probably go fossil hunting in the lake like I always do. Me and my family always enjoy it! But we don't do it everyday or anything we just go once or twice over the summer! It's super fun and a lot of people think so too. Ok, and if all else fails...... then I catch up on a few episodes of Phineas and Ferb. So that's what I would do on the first day of summer vacation.(especially the last one)

Let me start by saying that the summer season is my absolute favorite! I spend as much time as possible either on the boat, by the pool, or at the beach. This summer is going to be a bit different than previous summers because I am starting it off by taking a family vacation. My husband, children and I will be leaving for Jamaica a few days after school ends. We will be spending over a week relaxing on the white sand beaches, visiting Bob Marley’s home, snorkeling, sightseeing, swimming in the ocean, and having fun in the pools! My husband and I had gone to Jamaica 5 years ago, and we really loved it, so when trying to think of a place to take our children, we thought Jamaica would be perfect! Once we get home I will be going back to my normal beach, boat and pool routine, but first… I’m visiting Jamaica, MON!

I don't know what I am going to do at the start of brake. I really do charish summer, but the things I do are not very instructing to read, but rather to do. The things I do may not be very entertaining for you reading, but what is important is when I do them me and the people around me enjoy it a lot. I plan to go to the beach a lot with my family and friends, and enjoy the sun. Me and my friend, Chris, have fun diving in the water when it is cold, and we have made some pretty cool sand hot tubs before. Also I plan to be playing games with Danny, and Mj because it is really fun since we can talk over mic parties, and play in a group. But most of all, I plan to look forward to my summer birthday party. It is always very fun and in previous years we have rode rides at Callaways, enjoyed dinner at IHOP then seen the movie Pixels. And my family and friends always get me the best gifts! {thanks to Mj and Danny for your cool gifts before} Those are my intensions this summer, and i also hope you have a fun summer.

The first thing I’m going to do on summer vacation is try to beat Fallout 4. By then, I believe the new mods for the PS4 will be released. I have watched videos on a mod in particular that will help me clear the water so I can see. In the game, it is foggy and everything you can possibly imagine can crawl out of the water: Mirelurks, King mirelurks, Mirelurk slayers, and the legendary forms. This mod clears the water and gives resistance against water radiation. No matter how many times I restart, I can’t get to the island to continue the story line. I’ve tried to find a solution online, but the water is too cloudy , without the mod. I comb the main land, running into more and more mirelurks by the beach. With this mod I can see monsters and mutated common animals coming from a mile away and get further in the game. The first thing I will try to do on the first day of summer vacation is get past my most troubling part of Fallout 4, swimming. What will you do on the first day of summer vacation?
If this what you enjoy then continue, but I really believe that going outside should be somewhere in summer. It is super nice outside and the sun is shining. Playing video games is fun, but spending time outside is better.

I’ll soon pretend I didn’t think of that and continue with the 12 hours of relaxing. I will lay and dream and wish for nothing more for my life but more peace. Ahh what a life that would be. Really what I would do is hectically wake up and go places like the doctors, chiropractor, and things like that with my mom. Oh well, reality stinks!

DeleteThe first thing I am probably going to do is either play on my rollerskates or watch episodes of the Walking dead with my family. I love watching movies with my family so MUCH!!! And my whole family loves it too. After that I would probably stay up all night every night and wake up at 12:00. Just so I can enjoy the first day of summer. During summer My family and I will all probably go to great adventure and other theme parks. ( I am hoping they will plan a trip to disney, probably not though) But I guess that would be the first and other few thing I would do during this summer. There would not be a lot I would do this summer though. (Because my brothers run all over the place)But all my summers are great!! DeleteThe first thing I will do when I get off for summer break is have a off day, with no stress, and just relaxation. I would either read a book, do nothing and relax, or play video games. The only reason for me not to do those things when I got off for summer break is if I’m going to the beach, nothing beats going to the beach with me. The only downside of the beach is the annoying greenheads that are always on your skin. If I couldn’t do that I would try to get my mom to take me roller skating since I love it so much and I’m good at it! Or I would go to a theme park like Disney or Six Flags for example, hopefully disney I have only gone there a few times before. Now that I think of all of things I can do I can’t wait until I can actually do them, and get back to doing them. I hope you enjoyed reading my comment, what will you over break let me know.

DeleteThe first thing I will do when summer vacation starts is go and swim in my pool. I have to admit, this has been my best year and I thank Mr. McClellan and Mrs. Kemether for that! I absolutely would do this school over and over again! But anyways, I would put my Justice bikini on and hop into my pool. I’d practice diving, (I love diving) have cannonball contests, have a raft race, regular swim race, throw things to the bottom and retrieve them, do front\backflips, and just swim around. I never win at cannonball contests because look at my height and how much I weigh! I’m tiny! I normally win at regular swimming races because I am a fast swimmer. My siblings and I will get old legos or skylanders and throw them to the bottom and whoever gets the most by the time that they are all gone, WINS! It’s a lot of fun because you need to be able to swim fast and you need to be able to hold your breath for a long time! I am excited, but I wish that this school year would go on forever!

DeleteThe first thing I will do on summer break is go to my family's Father's Day picnic. The Father’s Day picnic is when all the members of my my dad's side of the family gather for a day of fun. Of course we make the day for the fathers a little! But it's a lot of fun! Usually we go to Lakewood where there is a park right next to the pavilion! On the other side there is a WIDE open field where we play tag or football. Also there is a water pump that we make a river out of then we add a lot of grass and dirt to make MUD. Also there is the adults and kids compitan races were we do sack race when we hop to the end in sacks, and three feet race where we tie our feet together and RACE! At the end of the day we do sparklers then leave. Hope you liked my blog.

ReplyDeleteThe first thing I'm going to do this summer is go to Hershey Park. When my family goes to Hershey Park we usually grab something to eat first and walk around. Afterwards, we go on rollercoasters and jump in the water at the waterpark. We have so much fun when we go tubing through the water slides. We then go relax and go sit for a little. I will usually start surfing right after. My brother goes to the arcade which is also fun. Last year we tried going on this one ride and once we were about to get on they closed it because of mechanical difficulties. Once it’s time to leave we try to stall all of our parents but it only worked once. Then we get ice cream and take a bus to the parking lot. My brother ends up dropping his ice cream right when we get off the bus. But we all have a fun time and get along surprisingly.
Sounds like fun! Hersey Park is a nice trip and always a lot of fun. Last summer we went to Virginia Beach for a week and we had a blast at Busch Gardens. I really enjoy rollercoasters! Good Job!

DeleteWhen Summer vacation starts I will bike to Waretown lake and go on the swings. Then I would blow bubbles on the beach and have a picnic, pretty old-school. The fun part about it is jumping off the slides and taking walks in the woods and see how many old easter eggs you find. Waretown lake seems like heaven to me, but when the sun sets the beach lights up with a red and yellow glow like fire spread out on a sheet of pure white silk it feels like home. In summer most people want to hang out with friends, me I’d sit at the beach with a book covered in a towel and watching the day pass on the life gaurd tower. I don’t know summer just bothers me because most of my friends are at school. It makes me sad to not see my school friends, I wish waretown lake had a buddy bench. That is basically what i would do when summer starts.

ReplyDeleteHmm, what a question. I really don't know until it comes! Sometimes i am gonna say start my summer reading, or binge watch slither.io and/or agar.io videos! Maybe i’ll eat… food. Or ill go on instagram, or try on new looks, or maybe hang out with my friends and talk to them about what next year might be like! I actually have never thought about this question until it was asked directly. I think i might go on a bike ride or a walk with my friend. Who knows? I like to wonder what it would be like to be a (almost) sixth grader. I asked my mother this question and she thought i would throw my backpack up in the air with excitement!

I think I would pick swimming because during winter and spring you can't do that so I want to start my summer off with a good summer activity. And if it winds up being to cold or something like that where I can't go swimming I would probably go fossil hunting in the lake like I always do. Me and my family always enjoy it! But we don't do it everyday or anything we just go once or twice over the summer! It's super fun and a lot of people think so too. Ok, and if all else fails...... then I catch up on a few episodes of Phineas and Ferb. So that's what I would do on the first day of summer vacation.(especially the last one)

DeleteLet me start by saying that the summer season is my absolute favorite! I spend as much time as possible either on the boat, by the pool, or at the beach. This summer is going to be a bit different than previous summers because I am starting it off by taking a family vacation. My husband, children and I will be leaving for Jamaica a few days after school ends. We will be spending over a week relaxing on the white sand beaches, visiting Bob Marley’s home, snorkeling, sightseeing, swimming in the ocean, and having fun in the pools! My husband and I had gone to Jamaica 5 years ago, and we really loved it, so when trying to think of a place to take our children, we thought Jamaica would be perfect! Once we get home I will be going back to my normal beach, boat and pool routine, but first… I’m visiting Jamaica, MON!

ReplyDeleteI don't know what I am going to do at the start of brake. I really do charish summer, but the things I do are not very instructing to read, but rather to do. The things I do may not be very entertaining for you reading, but what is important is when I do them me and the people around me enjoy it a lot. I plan to go to the beach a lot with my family and friends, and enjoy the sun. Me and my friend, Chris, have fun diving in the water when it is cold, and we have made some pretty cool sand hot tubs before. Also I plan to be playing games with Danny, and Mj because it is really fun since we can talk over mic parties, and play in a group. But most of all, I plan to look forward to my summer birthday party. It is always very fun and in previous years we have rode rides at Callaways, enjoyed dinner at IHOP then seen the movie Pixels. And my family and friends always get me the best gifts! {thanks to Mj and Danny for your cool gifts before} Those are my intensions this summer, and i also hope you have a fun summer.

DeleteThe first thing I’m going to do on summer vacation is try to beat Fallout 4. By then, I believe the new mods for the PS4 will be released. I have watched videos on a mod in particular that will help me clear the water so I can see. In the game, it is foggy and everything you can possibly imagine can crawl out of the water: Mirelurks, King mirelurks, Mirelurk slayers, and the legendary forms. This mod clears the water and gives resistance against water radiation. No matter how many times I restart, I can’t get to the island to continue the story line. I’ve tried to find a solution online, but the water is too cloudy , without the mod. I comb the main land, running into more and more mirelurks by the beach. With this mod I can see monsters and mutated common animals coming from a mile away and get further in the game. The first thing I will try to do on the first day of summer vacation is get past my most troubling part of Fallout 4, swimming. What will you do on the first day of summer vacation?

DeleteThe first thing I am going to do is sleep. I'm going to sleep until 11:00 and then wake up. I’ll then go back to sleep. The end. Just kidding! The first thing I’m going to do is probably swim and sit in the sun. I need time to soak up the time that I have to do absolutely nothing. It will be the time of my life. My parents will constantly ask, “Want to invite a friend over?” I will politely say no and sit and swim the rest of the day. Then I will ponder the wonderful thing (not) of going to sixth grade. I’ll soon pretend I didn’t think of that and continue with the 12 hours of relaxing. I will lay and dream and wish for nothing more for my life but more peace. Ahh what a life that would be. Really what I would do is hectically wake up and go places like the doctors, chiropractor, and things like that with my mom. Oh well, reality stinks!

DeleteRelaxing and do nothing but thinking is something I like to do a lot specially when it's about the future like sixth grade. Swimming around doing nothing is the best.

DeleteThe first thing I am going to do is sleep. I'm going to sleep until 11:00 and then wake up. I’ll then go back to sleep. The end. Just kidding! The first thing I’m going to do is probably swim and sit in the sun. I need time to soak up the time that I have to do absolutely nothing. It will be the time of my life. My parents will constantly ask, “Want to invite a friend over?” I will politely say no and sit and swim the rest of the day. Then I will ponder the wonderful thing (not) of going to sixth grade. I’ll soon pretend I didn’t think of that and continue with the 12 hours of relaxing. I will lay and dream and wish for nothing more for my life but more peace. Ahh what a life that would be. Really what I would do is hectically wake up and go places like the doctors, chiropractor, and things like that with my mom. Oh well, reality stinks!
