What is the best thing about my life, and what is the worst? That’s interesting to me. I’ve never thought about this. I think that the thing I like best about my life is that I always have a supportive family. They support me on everything I do. They also support me on all of my feelings. When I had a tough choice to make between football, and softball they told me that I should go with my gut and do what I mostly have interest in. I chose football, and I’m so glad I did. They also told me that whatever I chose, they would support it.
What is the worst part in my life? I believe that the worst part of my life is when an important pet/person in my family passes away. I have had my dog Sugar pass away on 1/26/16. But a tragic human loss, was my 98 year old, great-grandmother. Her name was Harriet Stillwell Barber. She was so sweet and kind and loved every human. I miss her so much. That would be the worst part. I think that I need to think about this way more often. It really makes me think of what I’m grateful for and what bad things have happened.
OLivia I really enjoyed what you wrote about, and honestly i am still getting over the fact that sugar passed. I believe your blog was very in debt. Great job i enjoyed your story alot!! :))
I am super sorry about your dog and grandmother, they both sound amazing. Friends and family will always be there for you. Don't feel bad about someone special passing, They will always be in your heart
I understand your grieve for the lost, but your family seems very open minded! Your friends are here and will be here to support you! You have a great life planned for you ahead!
Excellent thoughts. I agree that very often, it is family and friends that enable us to be the people we are today. With family support and help with decisions, they make life a bit easier and a lot more fun. I also agree with struggling when you lose a loved one (furry or human.) I have had people pass away in my life as well, and it is absolutely heart-breaking. Just try to remember that, hopefully, they are in a better place and perhaps you will see them again. Great Job!
Olivia you did amazing on your comment this week. I'm so sorry about your losses and I hope they rest in peace. Besides that I hope you are doing great in flag football and it is really fun.
Olivia, I am very sorry for the loos of you dog and Great-Grandmother. They are probably having a great time together in Heaven. Have a good time playing football.
That’s a tough question. I have to say the best thing about my life is my family and friends. Whenever you need a hand someone will always be there to lend one. Family are there to guide you and help you when you need it. Friends are there to show you it’s okay to be yourself and adventure sometimes! Even though both don’t last forever that is why they are so special. But don’t be depressed on the future otherwise the present will slip through your fingers. What I like least about my life? An even tougher question. It would have to be that feeling you get when just because your a kid you get treated like a baby. You want to help someone but, you get told you can’t because all you are is just a kid. It feels terrible! It’s like being told your tall, short, fat, or skinny because it’s something you can’t control. It feels like adults don’t think it’s annoying or hurts when they say that. Yes, we know we’re kids, but that doesn’t mean we don’t want to help. I have to admit these questions made me think about my life.
Great comment Kaitlin. I have a similar thought on both. I believe that family and friends are very important and I also dislike very much when someone tells me how I can't do something because its only something for adults to do. Great job!
I agree family and friends are so important. I feel we need are family and friends around us. I hate how us as kids are called babies by people older then us. We are role models to kids younger then us so we are nit babies.
This happens all the time, I hate it! Even if some people say these things, the probably don't know how you feel. They probably are just looking out for you, so don't get upset if this happens. It has happened to all of us.
Oh my god I thought that was just me! I hate that feeling so much. And friends do help with all their different personalities. Nice blog! Very relatable!
I really enjoyed your story. I have to say i feel the same way you do!😊 But it really does not feel good to be brought down by family friends or even strangers. Once again your topic was amazing😝
I 100% agree!I hate the feeling of being treated like a baby. Its funny because when we are young we want to be seen as older than we are but when we are older we want to be seen as younger!😀
Interesting thoughts. I agree about family and friends really being the reason that many of us have such happiness and support in our lives. But, I never really thought about kids being upset when they are treated like children. I suppose, often in life, parents expect younger people to be responsible, etc. thus expecting them to act older. But then, if they treat them like a child in a different circumstance, I can see where it might get annoying. Great job!
Good job Kaitlin, I also hate it when adults say I cannot help because I am a kid. Friends and family do know what's best for you a majority of the time. But, that doesn't mean that you should always depend on others make your own choices.
Your right! I hate when adults say I cannot help or do something because I'm to young. but sometimes they're right, for example we can't drink alcohol because we're to young.
The thing I like best about my life is my friends and family. My family has always been there for me no matter. My family does everything thing together. All my aunts, uncles, and cousins always come to every holiday party. We have big gathering for Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and Birthday parties. Everytime my family gathers we have long talks about what is happening in our lives and these conversations always end up in silly stories or weird things that happened at work, school, and out in the public. Now my friends and I have the best of times. We plays silly games and do two people yoga poses. The best of times we have our when we sit around and just talk about anything. I love my friends and family. The part I like least about my life is I don’t really see my sister as often as I want She is always at gymnastic from 4:00p.m-8:00p.m and gets home at 8:30 eats dinner takes a shower does homework and then goes to sleep. She has gymnastic every day of the week, but not Sundays and Wednesday. I get see her them but I really wish I could spend more time with her. We fight sometimes but we do love each other. I love her.
I as well think family is important just as much as friends. I am also sorry you don't get to see your sister as much as you would like.I will tell you things will change and things will get better.
Family is very important, and I know your family is VERY large. Two person yoga is the best, even if we have fallen MANY times. I also know that your sister is a great gymnast. Make sure to spend as much time with her on Sundays and Wednesdays as possible. If she is busy, just call me up, I love two person yoga!
I know Maria isn't home all the time, but that's alright! You know she is in you heart and always there for you. Also, you can always converse with friends!
Its's really sad to hear about your sister. It makes me feel grateful i have time with my siblings. And i know how fun family gatherings can be. But i haven't ha one of those in years.
Good job Annalisa! i really dont get to see my dad as often as i would like, But it is what it is and i would like to change that. And i also really love my family and my friends!!😊
I love your story Annalisa. I'm so sorry about you not getting to spend much time with your sister. I know with sports things can get busy. My family has football practice 4 days a week and all Saturday we have games.I think that your family sounds amazing and GREAT job!!!!
Good thoughts. Many students have said that it is their family and friends that are the best things in their lives. I tend to agree, I believe that our family and friends definitely make us who we are. I can also agree with being bummed because you don't see your sister that often. My brother lives in Rhode Island and I don't get to see him as often as I wish. Good Job!
You did a fantastic job Annalisa, I do have fights with my sisters sometimes, too, but one of normally starts to make jokes. Then, we both start laughing and the fight ends since one of us was probably in the middle of doing something so that person has to go back to doing what they were doing. But, friends and family are very important and everyone hoped to never lose them.
I'm sorry you don't see your sister often. I have the same feeling my brother is in the army and was in Iraq for nine months. know he lives in North Carolina.
The thing that I like best about life is my family and friends. I say that because my friends are always there for me if I'm down. My family helps me through tuff times when I'm not feeling well or when there's something bothering me. If I didn't have my family or my friends I don't think that I would here to this day because they helped me up whenever I'm down what do you think about my idea because I think it was one of the best. The thing I mostly hate about life is death. Death is not a joy able thing to go through. I have death in all different ways like dogs, cats, and even younger children. If you were to be there at that day you would also agree with me. What do you think about this horrifying topic of death I know it's not a very good thing to go through, but it's part of life.
Mj I agree family is so important. They are always there for you in situation that aren't so good. You are right deaths are horrible. When they happen it feel like the happiness is drainee out of you.
Mj- I most definitely agree with you about family being important.I also agree that deaths are a very horrible thing.I also think that having supportive friends is important.
I never enjoy the thought of death. Having a loved one pass is very upsetting. If you are upset, friends and family are there to help, just like you said. Yes, death is part of life, and unfortunately we will all die, too. Good job!
most people would want to act cool and say family is the worst, but deep down inside i think everyone is on the same page. Death is an awful thing, why cant we live forever!!!
Hey MJ, mine was basically like yours! I am also very sorry about your deaths. It is so hard with pets and people.Especially with young children!! I am with you on everything you wrote. Your comment was very personal and so amazing. Great job!!!!!!!
I agree whole-heartedly. Family and friends are what keep us grounded and death is definitely a part of life that is challenging. I suppose having a close family and good friends is what makes the death part so tough. If you didn't have people and animals that you cared so deeply for in life, you wouldn't miss them in death. Good Job!
sorry for your lose I can not handle death either. when my beat friends grandmother died I went to the final and party. At the party I cried forever and I never met the person!
Like Annalisa stated, death does drain happiness out of you, especially when it is something or something very close, it could make you cry. Family and friends are the key to friendship they are more important than anything else. Never let go of them, but that can be a bad thing if you don't let go of them, like Mrs. Dybas, stated it would make it tougher to get over their death. Excellent job MJ!
Hmmm.. One of the best times of my life is having my friends and family always there to support me no matter the situation. My family is very supportive when it comes to making decisions for yourself. My mother helped me out with the choice of either cheer or basketball.I went with my gut and chose cheer and I am so glad that I chose this because I was even offered a scholarship because of cheer! My friends on the other hand have always been there for me through my brightest and darkest days. So I’d just like to give a quick thank you to all of my friends!!
But one of my least favorite times of my life was when my father left me.My mother and my father never faught. When my mother and father split up I was about 4 years old.My father was one of the most amazing people alive!I pray every night that he will eventually come back. But this has yet to happen.Although I don’t have a father I do have a bond with my mother that can never be broken! The last time I saw my dad I was about 5.My dad always enjoyed spending time with me and I enjoyed spending time with him.I am very grateful for the family that I have and couldn’t ask for any more!
You sound like an amazing cheerleader, and your family seems awesome, too. I'm sorry about what happened with your dad, but in a book I read once, this happened and he came back later on. Great job with the scholarship thing, that is extremely impressive. Great Job!
Wow! Great job about the scholarship. You sound like an amazing cheerleader. Your family seems really nice. I sorry about your dad though. I never been through something like that before, but I'm sure your dad will probably want to see you in the future.
I'm so happy that you have such a great mother. But, every time I here about your dad it makes me sad, and thankful for my parents. I think you have sought people alot with this.
Wow!, great job Hailey! I like that you went with your gut and chose cheerleading. I am also very sorry about your father, you dont deserve to be treated that awfully!😡
Hailey H., I just want to say that you are tough, strong, funny, and amazing. Although I have heard your story 6,574,548,547,482,465 times, I cried. I think you are beautiful and amazing. I will always be there for you. You are a great cheerleader. Great job, especially because you brought tears to my eyes.
Good Job. Having a strong, supportive family and good friends is what makes life worth living. I'm glad that you have those wonderful people in your life. I also think that having loved ones not around is a very challenging thing. It seems that you have come to a good place with things and your dad. Unfortunately, you cannot control the choices other people make. It is definitely HIS LOSS to not be involved in your life. HE is the one missing out. Great job!
Wow! You got really personal with this one and I think that was a really amazing and brave chose! Nobody deserves to go through that and I will pray with you that your wish will one day come true
You may not have a dad, but I'm sure he was an excellent one. I'm so sorry abut what happened, great job with cheerleading, you sure do sound like a great cheerleader. It's impressive you got a scholarship off of cheerleading. Super great job on your comment Hailey.
I like the internet best in my life. Well, that would be pretty sad, I like playing, communicating, and talking to my friends over the internet best. Its really great to be able to have fun with friends from long distances to me. I have great times playing with my friends, when we work together, make callouts, and everything goes smooth. Some games are just five times better with a team. You can get an expierienced friend to help walk you through things, and get to places you'll never go. Friends can show you new things over the internet that will change your life forever. They can show you speeches that change your mindset, or videos that get you to donate to charity, or even just a funny video of people failing that makes a stronger bond with your friend.
Now what i like least: school, actually that would be pretty sad too. To be specific, PARCC. PARCC causes a lot of problems with the schedule, classes, and even the specials. Not to mention all the stress it causes, so the teacher can teach to much new things or make any tests because they don't want their students to freak out. Not to mention what a huge waste of my time it is. It takes up basically the whole day, that could have been education. PARCC crashes a lot and students have to start from the beginning of the huge test.
I agree, the internet COULD be a waste of time, but I use it to communicate and that's good. I talk with family from Greece, and friends from New York.
PARCC is a pain in the butt, but it could be worse. PARCC will be over soon anyways.
I agree, the Internet plays an important role in our lives! If you think about most thing we even do on a regular basis would not be possible! And PARCC is a pain to complete but I really don't see why we have to complete it so late in the year!Great job
wow i really agree with you sinjin! THe internet is a great thing just dont catch up with the wrong crowd!!!! Also im not the biggest fan of PARCC either, but it really helps. Great job!
I agree Sinjin. I think that the internet can be a great tool when it comes to learning and communicating. I also agree that the PARCC takes a long time and stops us from getting educated. Overall great job!!
Interesting ideas. I agree that having the internet is a great thing but can also be a challenging thing. It definitely think that it has created a society where people talk less face to face and more via text and email. As far as PARCC goes, I don't think you will find anyone who LIKES PARCC. Hopefully, with changes in the government, PARCC will change as well. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
Not to disagree with Nia, but PARCC doesn't leave us until after high school! The internet it definitely a great thing at times, but can be dangerous and mean. For example: cyberbullying and public pictures or posts can lead to many bad things like kidnapping, robbery, and stress from cyber bulling. Otherwise, you did a great job Sinjin.
This may sound strange, but hear me out. I think the most important thing in life is laughter! Without it, I’d be a sad person, not having many friends, because without my humor, there is no charisma, no fun, no anything! I’d be sitting at home all day watching boring videos, not being in school because I have no fun times with friends to look forward to. School would be more of a jail than it already is. No laughs would be there to get me through the day. After all, how would we get better without laughter? It is the best medicine :). Laughter prevents me from balling my eyes out every ten seconds and makes people around me feel better, too! All my good memories have laughter in them. Also, laughter is free and it enhances your mood (scientifically proven)! Laughter also lowers high stress levels. Anyway, laughter for me is what I love most about my life.
What i love least is friend competitions. I will be truthful, I do try to start these things myself, saying we have the best… I got a …, but in all truthfulness, I HATE them. It makes me feel sad inside, that I have to do this because i feel it’s necessary.
Way to mix it up Ana! I've heard a lot of repeated ideas, and I think your new idea is very interesting and fresh. Laughter is one of my single favorite things to dish out in life. But, I think friend competitions are awesome!!
Great response Ana! This was definitely a very unique topic!I also think that friend competitions can be bad but the end result could be a much stronger relationship between you guys!
Hey Ana, I am the girl who laughs at anything and everything! You know that! I can't believe I didn't think of that. I personally think friend competitions are fun, as long as they are fun and pointless. Like a fun race or something. I agree with Hailey H. and Sinjin. But great job!!
Good job! I think that laughter is a wonderful thing to like most about life. It definitely is the thing that helps lighten things up! And, if you are laughing, then you obviously like the people you are surrounded by! Competition, whether it is between people or in sports, is always a challenging situation. Sport competition is a healthy thing if the athletes keep things in perspective, play hard, and have good sportsmanship. As far as competition in friendships... I'm not too sure I understand what you mean. But, if people feel the need to compete with other people for friends, that is a very sad thing in deed. Great job!
Ana I love one of your topics, laughter! It definitely it one of the best things in 0our lives for sure. Without it, everyone would wear frowns. On the other hand, competitions I love I had two today, gym and softball. Gym my team won, softball game was canceled in the middle of it from lightning and right when I was catcher.
Without laughter who knows what we would all be like. But hey, a little friendly competition keeps us on our toes. Oh, and by the way I got a new... Just kidding!
The best part of my life is the fact that I am healthy and doing fine. People all over the world have to deal with horrible things. I am doing fine! I have friends, family, shelter, food, and water. Friends and family are super supportive, and without them I wouldn't be person I am today. They are all constantly willing to stay on FaceTime for hours because I am bored with nothing to do. Sometimes I watch the news and want to start crying. Families have seen their very own children pass away in front of them. I’m watching the hysterical parents while I am sitting with my parents, watching television!
The worst part of my life took a lot of thought. I try to be pretty optimistic so reached into the back of my brain/heart for this one. Everyone thinks that being the only child is always happy and great, and sometimes it is. No one ever thinks of the negatives of being the only one kid in your family. Now don't get me wrong, at times being the only child is good. For instance, at the father daughter dances. I am the only girl. I don't have to share my father on the dancefloor! However, it gets kind of lonely around here. Picture a rainy day. Your dad is working, your mom is planning the next school events, then there is you. You have tried calling each and every friend. They are all busy. You sit down on your bed and start staring at your phone. Yippee. (Not really!) You and your siblings have all fought before, but if you need them they are there. You have a friend, playmate, and sister/brother your whole entire life.
Even though I don’t have a sibling, I have my friends and family, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
This one thought me a lot. I am generally thankful for my siblings but you showed me how happy I should be. Once again i have heard a lot of repititionbut this was a nice new idea.
One of the most important things is staying healthy! I also agree that you are so optimistic! You always see the world as a bright sunny place even on it's darkest days
Wow Nia this really tickled my heart! ive always wanted to be the only child, but now i see from a different perspective. You really made me think twice. If i come a cross a lamp, I know what i am not wishing for!
Nia, great ideas. I also feel awful for the hurt/just deaths. My siblings and I fight a lot but we all love each other no matter what happens. I will be there for you if you need a friend! You are always happy no matter what. Great job.
Excellent thoughts! I agree with you for the best things in life. It is often those family members and friends that make everything else wonderful! I also can understand why being an only child is tough. I am not an only child, and would never have wanted to be one. I also never wanted my children to be an only child. I can definitely understand where it would be lonely. Great job!
Wow now! Amazing thinking! It really made me think about what my life would be like without my awesome siblings! Well... My awesome sister, i don't know about my brother though. I'm just kidding, even tomhoughr we fight I still love him and he is my influence.
I do have fights with my siblings a lot, but we make up, majority of the time. But, I always take it into consideration of how bored you get by being the only child. Not saying that it is boring being the only child, but whenever you're lonely and your parents are busy, things start to get boring. You did an outstanding job Nia.
I know what you mean I feel like a only child sometimes, its so boring! No one to play broad games with no one to play some imagination game with me soooooo I'm forced to video games witch then becomes a habit.
Although I have many things in my life that I am very grateful for, I think that if I needed to only choose a few, the BEST days in my life would have to be when my daughters were born, and the day I married my husband. I mean, many other things have happened throughout my life that I have enjoyed, but those mentioned were definitely the BEST! I can remember the day that both my daughters were born like it was yesterday. They were so tiny, and absolutely adorable. Madison, being my first, I was thrilled to become a mom, and when Maitland was born, I couldn’t wait for her to meet her big sister, Madison. I was very excited to watch their relationship grow as siblings. Marrying my husband, well what girl wouldn’t love her wedding day! Beautiful weather, gorgeous lace dress, fabulous shoes, and our family and friends surrounding us! It was a wonderful celebration and a great party! Changing gears completely… the worst day of my life thus far was November 23rd, 2008. This is the day I found out that my father had died. He lived down in Melbourne, Florida on his sailboat. As the story goes, supposedly he had fallen overboard sometime Thursday evening, but wasn’t found until Monday morning. Unfortunately he had drowned and we got the call Monday after they had found him. It is a very surreal feeling, but I know he died doing what he loved, so I get some peace knowing that. I know he is in a better place now, and hope, perhaps, one day I will see him again.
I am very sorry for your loss, i bet he was a great man/father! I am also very happy for you, i hope you enjoy your life with your husband and daughters. Great story, by the way!!!!
Hey, Mrs. Dybas, I can't imagine how happy I would be becoming a mom. That feeling must be great! I am so sorry about your father. I am so so sorry that he didn't just lay down and peacefully go though. That must have been tough.
My mom always tells me how meeting your children is the best day of your life! I am sorry about your father, but he sounds like an amazing person. Great job!
Wow, what a question! I would have to reach down to the bottom of my heart to answer this… Well here goes nothing!! The best part/time of my life was when i was born (not to sound cleshay!). If my mother would have married the wrong guy I would be nothing like myself. I wouldn't love school, I wouldn't have brown hair, And i wouldn't have my gorgeous eyes. Well, i would be a completely different person! Sometimes i think about what i would have looked like. I guess the world will never know, am i right!?
Now for my worst day… This one was tough to talk about but here it goes. It was December 10th, 2015 on a Sunday. When something terrible happened, i was at a party with my mom, for jewelry and home decor. It was about an hour in when my mom gets a phone call from my poppop… it was to say they were back from wildwood, and they found out my uncle Tim, favorite by far, had no heartbeat, no pulse. All was left was him on his bed watching rainee their dog. We found out he passed December 7th, on a Wednesday (11 days from my birthday) from pneumonia (neh MOAN yeh). The sad part is that my brother, Nicholas, and my step dad, Marc, had been checking in everyday to see how he was doing. But, here's the sad part, One day they went to check how he was doing and he said he felt sick… it went from having a ‘little cold” to having a heart attack from this disease. After my mother rushed out the door yelling at people to get out of her way, i was stuck at some random stranger's house crying and screaming at what could be so awful for her to storm out on me like that. But that night, i found out, and bled tears for hours and hours. I remember the dreadful day like it was yesterday. If he had gone to a doctor sooner than he would still be with us today. Now that his birthday is coming up on May 5th, on a thursday, i will be crying even more. I wll never forget about my uncle T. Just because he is not with us anymore, doesnt mean he is still not the best. That conclude my story for today.
Hey Nat, I wouldn't want you to be anyone different. You are beautiful and smart in every way. I am so sorry about your Uncle Tim. I didn't know the story. I will be there just 1 seat away from you when your crying. Cry on my shoulder. I know how much he meant to you cause you say it 24/7. Great job!
Very good job, and I appreciate you opening up. Being grateful to "who you are" is definitely something that is pretty awesome! Very often it is little things like that , that people take for granted. You did a very good job realizing it. As far as the worst day...I can definitely relate. You have to try to keep things in perspective... it will never get easier, but with each passing year you will remember the goods times a bit more than the worst time, and you will start to cry a bit less. I'm sure he wouldn't want you sad, so on the 5th of May, remember the wonderful times, and try to only be sad for a moment of two. The rest of the day try to rejoice in the time that you DID have with him...not the time that you don't. Great job.
I feel so bad for your loss. I as well love the day I was born definitely was one of the best days of my life. You did a spectacular job on your comment.
The thing I like best about life is that I have family and friend that are there for me. Also that, I have all the things I have and a roof over my head and the good food and water. I mean not everybody has these things. So to be honest I think that I am very lucky. Especially because that my friend are there when I need them. And my family helps me and loves me. That’s what I think is best about my life.
The worst thing about my life is that my sister and I are always fighting. People say that “ That’s what sisters do” but that should not happen all the time. I mean sisters can fight once in awhile but not all the time. But I love my sister either way. But that is truly what I think is worst about my life. But other then that I truly love my life. And I couldn’t even imagine having a different one.
I think it is a wonderful thing to be appreciative for the "little things" in life. It seems as though you have developed that appreciation. As far as always fighting with your sister...I agree that sisters will definitely fight at times, but I would also be sad if we fought all the time. Maybe the two of you could make a real effort to not fight as much. Try to talk through things instead of arguing right away. Good Luck & Great job!
Great job Hailey! I as well fight with my siblings often, too. But, then we start making jokes and it ends very quickly, and normally the arguments are over dumb things, like me taking her pencil when it was mine first.
Hailey M., I agree with you on everything you talked about. Family, friends, having food, having clothing, and having shelter are very important. I hate it very much when I fight with my sister to. It stinks because your mad at someone you love. Great job!!
Hailey M. I feel the same way you do. sometimes my brother and I (your welcome olivia) fight. I dont like that we do, its awful because when we get along we have a great time together!
I hear of siblings fighting often. I hope that you and your sister do your best to work it out. The good part is that you don't have any other big problems. Like you said, you have shelter, friends, & food/water. Great job!
The best thing in my life is that I have friends that support, care, and listen to me. They are always there for me, and it’s more than I could ask for. Not everybody has as great of friends as I do, that are extremely kind and fun. For example: today on the bus ride home my friend, David, listened to me the whole bus ride blab and blab about some of the dumbest things. That is definetely a true friend, plus if I’m feeling down any of my friends would ask if I’m okay or help me feel better.
I believe the worst thing in my life is when I have a fight with my closest friends. It really isn’t the best feeling to have, especially when you accidentally started the fight. But, it is nice if they are really are good friends and you make up with them the next day, then that would make myself feel better. I believe those are the best and worst things in my life.
It does stink when you fight with friends. You might love and care for them but we all have disagreements. I not saying we should fight I'm just saying we have our differences. But I agree with you. Great work!
Great job Katherine! I think that friends are very important in life. They cheer you up and cheer you on, make you laugh, and understand your feelings. Fighting with friends is bad because everyone needs to know what your grumpy about and you tell people which gets them even more mad. Good comment!
Good job Katherine!!! I love all my friends and hate to fight with them. Especially when its over something stupid, like not being fair in four square!!😄😋😃😊
I totally agree that family and friends are the best things in life. Good friends are always there to build you up and pick you up when you're down. They support you and tell you when you're being crazy. Good friends keep you grounded. Fighting is definitely a bummer, but if no one ever fought, you wouldn't appreciate the good times that you have. Sometimes a good argument can put a relationship back on track. Arguments occur because we each are different with different opinions. Imagine if we were all the same and thought the same way... what a boring life that would be! Great job!
I HATE having big fights with the people closest to you. After around 1 day I find myself going up to them like, "Uh, so ummmmmm, you wanna hang out today?" Friends are the best. They will always be there for you.
The thing I like the most in my life is my hamster, Chewbacca. He is a Siberian Dwarf Hamster and you actually need a license to own him in the state of New Jersey. On christmas, 2015 my parents gave me a hamster ball I was so happy because this meant I was getting a hamster. A few days later we went to Petsmart and chose my hamster. The hamster I chose ran away when trying to pick him up. I chose a different one and he just went right into the hand. My hamster used to be gray with a line Darker shade of gray down his back. Now that line is a little lighter and the bottom half of him is white. He has dark beady eyes and runs very fast.
The worst part of my life is when any living thing dies. Once my dog caught a baby rabbit. The rabbit squeaked like a dog toy so I walked up to my dog to see what he found and he turned with a baby rabbit in his mouth. I screamed ran and cried my eyes out. Luckily the rabbit survived in the end but still I hate death.
I hope the rabbit wasn't hurt during the incident. Pets are definetely awesome things in life, but sadly I don't have any. I hope both of your pets are in great shape.
Pets are always an important part of your life. They are the BEST listeners because they never interrupt or talk back! I had hamsters when I was young; I enjoyed them until they bit me. But, it is what it is I suppose. And, unfortunately, death is a part of life. So, in order for us to enjoy and appreciate life, death must occur. Although sad, it is the circle of life. Great job!
I also love pets John. In my opinion, any pet is a mans best friend. My dog Mudge is so cute and snugly and energetic. We wouldn't trade him for the world. I don't like death either. I also think that death is an awful thing. Good job!
Your hamster sounds really cool. I also am not a fan of the subject of death. All living things must come to an end, but I only enjoy things passing if they pass peacefully. Good job!
The part I like most in life is that I get to hang out with friends and family. You also get to live life and make it the best. By that I mean have fun and get surprised or excited about what your next adventure will be like. You get to share your deepest feelings with your trustworthy friends or family members too. In life you also have accomplishments and I believe that those accomplishments are super fun to live up to and succeed at whatever they are.
The worst part about life is that close friends and family members eventually die. But so do we. Not to long ago I had a family member pass. It was my great-grandmother, we called her grandma GG but her real name was Gloria Van Pelt. When she died everyone was shocked and depressed. I’m sure we don't like being upset or depressed because it makes us sad. Thanks for allowing me to think and share my feelings Mrs. Dybas.
Life and death...two very commons likes and dislikes throughout this week's comments. The irony in it all is that in order to truly appreciate life, there must be death. If we all lived forever, there would be no true appreciation for the experiences we have in life. Dealing with death is a very heart wrenching experience. The best advice I could give you is to appreciate each and every day because you never know when life is going to change. Great job!
I agree on all of your "Best" opinions. These things truly make me happy to. As far as your worst go... I'm sorry about your great-grandmother. I lost my great grandmother on April 7, 2015. We loved her and missed her to. Great job!
I feel that a lot of people say death is the worst thing, and I totally agree with them. Death is a bad thing to go through. I am sorry that you lost your grandma though.
Taylor i am so sorry for your loss of your grandmother. Soon enough you will go to heaven and be with her. And i am guessing she will look as spectacular as ever!! Great job on your essay
Being with family and friends is the best. Like I said to Jack, I am not a fan of the subject of death. It is depressing, but all living things must come to an end. I hope that your Great Grandma passed peacefully & that she lived the best life as possibe
Good question! It really got me thinking. So, I think the best part of my life is that everyday is amazing and never a bad one! Don't get me wrong sometimes things don't go right but I like to think positive and never be put down. It's also amazing that I get to spends the days with my favorite people, friends and family! Without them I would be nothing compared to what j am now. That's by far my favorite thing about life.
Now, my worst moment in my life is gonna be very hard to talk about. So, the worst day probably has to be when my grandma died. It's a very long story that is gonna make my heart crush even more to talk about it. It all started about a week before she passed when we had to take her to the hospital cause she couldn't breathe properly and couldn't move at all. She was not a very healthy person from the start. She grew up with health problems and at a young age started to smoke. She has always been a great person to me and everyone else. She was the person I looked forward to seeing every week. Shortly after we got her to the hospital we new right away she wasn't going to make it much longer. And the worst part is is that I never got to say a proper goodbye to her. My mom spent her time with my grandma during her last few minutes. I didn't think it was going to go bye so fast. I was at her house when my mom told me the news. I started balling my eyes out just like I am now just thinking about it. I always prey for her and wish they maybe one day I'll get to see her again. I miss her dearly every day and just wish I got to say goodbye. Ok so those are the best and the worst things about my life. Just remember to always be thankful for what you have and never give up hope!
Life and death, unfortunately go hand in hand. As I have told some other students that discussed similar topics, I think that in order to have a true appreciation for life, someone has to experience death. Experiencing death puts things into perspective. It makes you value the times and memories that are spent with people you care about. Don't get me wrong, death is not a pleasant thing by any means, but it is a part of life; that whole circle of life thing. I'm sorry for your loss, but I hope you have wonderful memories, and perhaps you will see her again one day. Great job!
Hey Makenna, good job. I just don't understand. You said that you've never had a bad day, yet you said that you were balling your eyes out when your grandmother passed away. Anyway, great job and sorry for your loss.
Mckenna I am so so sorry that you lost your grandmother. I hope you feel better and laugh about all the good times you had together! Soon you ill be up there in heaven looking over all your loved ones just like your grandma! good job on your comment and keep up the good work!!!
I would have to say my favorite thing about my life is family and friends .My family has always been a big part of my life. I love spending time with my family.I feel like family can never turn against you and will always love you.Sometimes family is something that people only have left.I am very grateful that i have a loving caring family. My friends have always been there for me. Even though sometimes we all get into arguments we still care about each other.Friends always help you through the bad times and I am happy about that.
I think the worst part about my life is when we had to put my old dog Oreo to sleep. She had a spinal injury which made her paralyzed from the middle of her back down. She could barely walk so we didn’t want to suffer anymore. So in the afternoon while I was at school my mom brang Oreo to the vet to get put to sleep. It was really sad because everyone that knew her loved her.It was really hard for everyone .She was a good dog.
Life and death are a common topic for many student's comments. You did a very good job expressing your feelings and getting your point across. Losing a loved one, whether it's a human or a furry friend, it still hurts. Hopefully you have wonderful memories of your dog, and those will live in your heart forever. Good Job!
Hi Kayla. Good job! Sorry about your dog. You know the saying: A dog is a mans best friend. I love dogs and I couldn't imagine life without one. I lost my dog Sugar this year, 2016. On January 26. My dog had many tumors. She couldn't use one if her paws to walk because it was paralyzed. She never got up anymore. My mother came home and she was starting to go down. They rushed her to the vet and got her put down. I know it hurts. Overall great job!
I once had to put my dog charlie to sleep. I dont want to get into that story but i will say he was a big part of my life. The sad part was that he was only 4. I hope you feel better and he/she is in a better place now, Watching over you!!
I actually remember this day. You started crying in library & I didn't know why. You finally told me about Oreo. I felt so bad & I still do. You were super upset and it made my heart hurt a bit. I never enjoy these things that we have to go through with pets.
The best thing about my life is being born. I chariest my life on the earth as it is going away tomorrow. I am happy that I can experience food, landmarks, items, and humans. It is the best thing in my life because without being born I would not exist. I would not be able to do activities in life. Many people say " I hate my life" that is just wrong to say and you should be happy your even exist. So thank you for letting me exist in life.
The least thing I hate in life are waking up early in the morning. I always like to sleep in and get rest so I can have energy in life. Every day wake up go to school, Im so tired in school im surprised im not passed out most of the time. This is why I like weekends cause I can SLEEP!!. So hopefully tere is a lazy president that lets up sleep in if not I will parish. So that is the thing that I like in life and don't like in life.
I think that the day each and every one of us born is a pretty terrific day! Imagine how much life would change if you were not born! I mean, you wouldn't have a life! That's a crazy thought! As far as waking up early, I completely agree!! I HATE getting up early. Problem now is that every weekend my kids have a ton of stuff going on and we need to travel for field hockey tournaments. So, I haven't been able to sleep in in awhile. That makes me sad AND TIRED! Great job!
Great job Zach! I agree that even being part of this world is great. I am also with you on getting up early. If I can get up and go downstairs when I want, I would wake up at 11:00 and get up at 12:30. ZzzZzzZzzZ. :o <--------- Yawn
I agree with EVERYTHING you said! i hate waking up early, and i love my life! my brother, in middle school, has to wake at 6:00! Its crazy, i could only imagine what he might feel like!!! Good job by the way.
I never really ever gave this any thought but if I had to I would say that the best thing about my life is that my house is right by the bay and that we have a boat. I like that my house is right by the bay because since we have a boat we could go fishing easily or boat rides without the hassle of going to the marina and putting the boat in and out each trip. We always have to share our stuff. He always goes in my room and steals my stuff and hides it. The least thing I like about my life is that I have a brother. The thing I really don't like about having a brother is that he is always annoying me and at attacking me and I always have to be constantly alert, so I don't get rest unless he is sleeping or at school.
I live on the bay as well, and we can hop onto the boat whenever we want. It is definitely a perk! I also really love hearing the waves in the morning during the spring and summer when I sleep with the sliding glass doors open. Anyone who lives on the water gets totally spoiled! I'm sure your brother can be annoying at times, but remember, when you are grown, you both won't see each other as often as you do now, and you'll probably miss him; I sure do miss mine! Great job!
Living on the bay sounds fun! I like boat rides and fishing. I disagree with you on part of it. I think that siblings can be annoying and mean. But in the end they are always there for you. They will also always love you! Remember that. Anyway, GREAT JOB!
I know what you mean when you say that your brother is always annoying you I have TWO annoying people in my life that is my sisters. they are always annoying me. I live down the street from the bay I like it a lot.
Danny, You do have nice house. I remember when I was at your house and I went on the jet ski. It was really fun, you are lucky you get to do it all the time during the summer. I used to think my brother was annoying but now I miss him ALL the time because he lives in North Carolina.
That’s a very good question. I simply must say that I have a loving and appreciating family that pays for all of my activities. They even pay for the junk I’ll only use once. They care for me and my three brothers, though I know that we can be an awful pain in their butts. For example, if my parents didn’t love me, I wouldn’t have my personal information processor, or pip boy. To boil it down, it is a phone case that you download an app and it works to imitate the game! I’m thankful for them because a lot of people don't have that. A full family, not the pip boy.
The thing I dislike is that I must leave them every other weekend to visit my blood-father. Although, I consider him my step-father for the small effort given amount to me. He doesn't pay for any clubs, whatsoever, or any fun activities, but pays for my step-brother’s football.
Brian, I agree you do have very nice parents. They are always so very generous. I am thankful they let me hang out with you and your family so much. It does stink that you have to leave your wonderful family every other weekend. Sorry about that.
yea I agree with you brian I also have to leave them every weekend to visit my father. I personally think that my family AND my friends are a reat part of my life. If I didn't have my friends or family I don't think I would be here today.
I love when my family buys me useless junk. It may not be something I will keep and reassure and love, but at the moment it made me happy so my parents bought it for me. These are the things that I love about parents. They would do almost anything to make you happy.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the worst part in my life?
DeleteOlivia family is very important. I really sorry about your loses with sugar and you grandmother.:( Your blog was very interesting.
DeleteWow, that death seems like something impossible to get over_sorry. But, it is great you have a open-minded family. That will do you great in life.
DeleteI am super sorry about your dog and grandmother, they both sound amazing. Friends and family will always be there for you. Don't feel bad about someone special passing, They will always be in your heart
DeleteI understand your grieve for the lost, but your family seems very open minded! Your friends are here and will be here to support you! You have a great life planned for you ahead!
DeleteI most definitely agree about deaths being one of the worst parts. But I also think that family and friends are important. You family is truly amazing!
DeleteThank you all for understanding and agreeing!
DeleteExcellent thoughts. Great Job!
DeleteYou did a good job and the same with me. And I am very sorry for you.
DeleteOlivia you did amazing on your comment this week. I'm so sorry about your losses and I hope they rest in peace. Besides that I hope you are doing great in flag football and it is really fun.
DeleteOlivia, I am very sorry for the loos of you dog and Great-Grandmother. They are probably having a great time together in Heaven. Have a good time playing football.
Deleteyea I agree my family is always helping me. I also like playing football. I think that it is a good hobby.
DeleteI'm sorry for your loss. But I love how you told about your dog passing away to. Because it shows loss isn't just from humans.
DeleteI'm sorry for your loss. Your family will always be with you. Maybe not physically but in your heart.
DeleteThat’s a tough question.
ReplyDeleteWhat I like least about my life?
Great job!
DeleteI agree family and friends are so important. I feel we need are family and friends around us. I hate how us as kids are called babies by people older then us. We are role models to kids younger then us so we are nit babies.
DeleteThis happens all the time, I hate it! Even if some people say these things, the probably don't know how you feel. They probably are just looking out for you, so don't get upset if this happens. It has happened to all of us.
DeleteFamily and friends are very important. I think I have to agree with you on the being treated like a kid thing. It STINKS!
DeleteOh my god I thought that was just me! I hate that feeling so much. And friends do help with all their different personalities. Nice blog! Very relatable!
DeleteI really enjoyed your story. I have to say i feel the same way you do!😊 But it really does not feel good to be brought down by family friends or even strangers. Once again your topic was amazing😝
DeleteI 100% agree!I hate the feeling of being treated like a baby. Its funny because when we are young we want to be seen as older than we are but when we are older we want to be seen as younger!😀
DeleteInteresting thoughts. Great job!
DeleteI like how you said that how parents don't know. But it does get annoying after awhile. But good job and awesome comment.
DeleteGood job Kaitlin, I also hate it when adults say I cannot help because I am a kid. Friends and family do know what's best for you a majority of the time. But, that doesn't mean that you should always depend on others make your own choices.
DeleteYour right! I hate when adults say I cannot help or do something because I'm to young. but sometimes they're right, for example we can't drink alcohol because we're to young.
DeleteI agree one hundred percent on the best part topic. I love how my family is so supportive! It's an amazing part of my life!
DeleteGreat job Kaitlin! It's a good thinking question! I agree
Deleteyea that does feel horrid. I hate when people say that to me. I just want to punch them.
DeleteThe thing I like best about my life is my friends and family.
ReplyDeleteThe part I like least about my life is I don’t really see my sister as often as I want She is always at gymnastic from 4:00p.m-8:00p.m and gets home at 8:30 eats dinner takes a shower does homework and then goes to sleep.
DeleteFamily is very important, and I know your family is VERY large. Two person yoga is the best, even if we have fallen MANY times. I also know that your sister is a great gymnast. Make sure to spend as much time with her on Sundays and Wednesdays as possible. If she is busy, just call me up, I love two person yoga!
DeleteI know Maria isn't home all the time, but that's alright! You know she is in you heart and always there for you. Also, you can always converse with friends!
DeleteIts's really sad to hear about your sister. It makes me feel grateful i have time with my siblings. And i know how fun family gatherings can be. But i haven't ha one of those in years.
DeleteGood job Annalisa! i really dont get to see my dad as often as i would like, But it is what it is and i would like to change that. And i also really love my family and my friends!!😊
DeleteI love your story Annalisa. I'm so sorry about you not getting to spend much time with your sister. I know with sports things can get busy. My family has football practice 4 days a week and all Saturday we have games.I think that your family sounds amazing and GREAT job!!!!
DeleteGood thoughts. Many students have said that it is their family and friends that are the best things in their lives. I tend to agree, I believe that our family and friends definitely make us who we are. I can also agree with being bummed because you don't see your sister that often. My brother lives in Rhode Island and I don't get to see him as often as I wish. Good Job!
DeleteYou did a fantastic job Annalisa, I do have fights with my sisters sometimes, too, but one of normally starts to make jokes. Then, we both start laughing and the fight ends since one of us was probably in the middle of doing something so that person has to go back to doing what they were doing. But, friends and family are very important and everyone hoped to never lose them.
DeleteSometimes family may fight but we always love eachother no matter what happens! It's a great thing to be thankful for! Great job annalisa
DeleteI'm sorry you don't see your sister often. I have the same feeling my brother is in the army and was in Iraq for nine months. know he lives in North Carolina.
Deleteyea I fight with my siblings too. that is just what keeps us moving. I love my sisters. good job
DeleteSiblings can be frustrating sometimes, but other times their great. So it can be hard not seeing them sometimes when you want to.
DeleteThe thing that I like best about life is my family and friends.
ReplyDeleteMj I agree family is so important. They are always there for you in situation that aren't so good. You are right deaths are horrible. When they happen it feel like the happiness is drainee out of you.
DeleteMj- I most definitely agree with you about family being important.I also agree that deaths are a very horrible thing.I also think that having supportive friends is important.
DeleteI never enjoy the thought of death. Having a loved one pass is very upsetting. If you are upset, friends and family are there to help, just like you said. Yes, death is part of life, and unfortunately we will all die, too. Good job!
DeleteWow, that was very sad. Death is the worst. But family is so important, you're right.
Deletemost people would want to act cool and say family is the worst, but deep down inside i think everyone is on the same page. Death is an awful thing, why cant we live forever!!!
DeleteHey MJ, mine was basically like yours! I am also very sorry about your deaths. It is so hard with pets and people.Especially with young children!! I am with you on everything you wrote. Your comment was very personal and so amazing. Great job!!!!!!!
DeleteI agree whole-heartedly. Family and friends are what keep us grounded and death is definitely a part of life that is challenging. I suppose having a close family and good friends is what makes the death part so tough. If you didn't have people and animals that you cared so deeply for in life, you wouldn't miss them in death. Good Job!
DeleteI think everyone has the same optimism on this topic! We all need our family! They are our second half and without them we would be nothing!
Deletesorry for your lose I can not handle death either. when my beat friends grandmother died I went to the final and party. At the party I cried forever and I never met the person!
Deletesorry I meant best friend
DeleteLike Annalisa stated, death does drain happiness out of you, especially when it is something or something very close, it could make you cry. Family and friends are the key to friendship they are more important than anything else. Never let go of them, but that can be a bad thing if you don't let go of them, like Mrs. Dybas, stated it would make it tougher to get over their death. Excellent job MJ!
DeleteHmmm..
ReplyDeleteBut one of my least favorite times of my life was when my father left me.My mother and my father never faught.
Great Job!
DeleteWow! Great job about the scholarship. You sound like an amazing cheerleader. Your family seems really nice. I sorry about your dad though. I never been through something like that before, but I'm sure your dad will probably want to see you in the future.
DeleteI'm so happy that you have such a great mother. But, every time I here about your dad it makes me sad, and thankful for my parents. I think you have sought people alot with this.
DeleteThank you for all of the support guys!!
DeleteWow!, great job Hailey! I like that you went with your gut and chose cheerleading. I am also very sorry about your father, you dont deserve to be treated that awfully!😡
DeleteHailey H., I just want to say that you are tough, strong, funny, and amazing. Although I have heard your story 6,574,548,547,482,465 times, I cried. I think you are beautiful and amazing. I will always be there for you. You are a great cheerleader. Great job, especially because you brought tears to my eyes.
DeleteGood Job. Great job!
DeleteWow! You got really personal with this one and I think that was a really amazing and brave chose! Nobody deserves to go through that and I will pray with you that your wish will one day come true
DeleteI'm sorry your father left you. but something like cheerleading and a good mother should keep you happy.
DeleteYou may not have a dad, but I'm sure he was an excellent one. I'm so sorry abut what happened, great job with cheerleading, you sure do sound like a great cheerleader. It's impressive you got a scholarship off of cheerleading. Super great job on your comment Hailey.
DeleteI agree I love having friends and family. they help me when I am struggling. I think that I would not be here If it wasn't for my friends or family.
DeleteI like the internet best in my life.
ReplyDeleteNow what i like least: school, actually that would be pretty sad too.
DeletePARCC is a pain in the butt, but it could be worse. PARCC will be over soon anyways.
I agree, the Internet plays an important role in our lives! If you think about most thing we even do on a regular basis would not be possible! And PARCC is a pain to complete but I really don't see why we have to complete it so late in the year!Great job
Deletewow i really agree with you sinjin! THe internet is a great thing just dont catch up with the wrong crowd!!!! Also im not the biggest fan of PARCC either, but it really helps. Great job!
DeleteI agree Sinjin. I think that the internet can be a great tool when it comes to learning and communicating. I also agree that the PARCC takes a long time and stops us from getting educated. Overall great job!!
DeleteInteresting ideas.
DeleteI agree 100% on the parcc opinion! It causes so much stress and nobody needs to go through that. Great job!!
DeleteNot to disagree with Nia, but PARCC doesn't leave us until after high school! The internet it definitely a great thing at times, but can be dangerous and mean. For example: cyberbullying and public pictures or posts can lead to many bad things like kidnapping, robbery, and stress from cyber bulling. Otherwise, you did a great job Sinjin.
DeleteThe PARCC takes up only to out nine periods of school and once you start it you realize that's it not that bad.
DeleteI agree I like the internet the best. if there was none this blog would not exist. I am just glad that it does exist.
DeleteThis may sound strange, but hear me out.
ReplyDeleteWhat i love least is friend competitions.
DeleteGreat response Ana! This was definitely a very unique topic!I also think that friend competitions can be bad but the end result could be a much stronger relationship between you guys!
DeleteI heard if you have a very REAL laugh, you will live a minute longer! I dont know if it is true but i like to think it is. GReat job Anna!😊😊😊
DeleteHey Ana, I am the girl who laughs at anything and everything! You know that! I can't believe I didn't think of that. I personally think friend competitions are fun, as long as they are fun and pointless. Like a fun race or something. I agree with Hailey H. and Sinjin. But great job!!
DeleteGood job! Great job!
DeleteGreat job a Ana! I especially love the laughter part! I also think it is great to laugh a lot!
DeleteAna I love one of your topics, laughter! It definitely it one of the best things in 0our lives for sure. Without it, everyone would wear frowns. On the other hand, competitions I love I had two today, gym and softball. Gym my team won, softball game was canceled in the middle of it from lightning and right when I was catcher.
DeleteIts hard to sit around doing nothing and NOT laughing. sometimes I laugh so hard and for so long I almost suffocate!
DeleteWithout laughter who knows what we would all be like. But hey, a little friendly competition keeps us on our toes. Oh, and by the way I got a new... Just kidding!
Deleteyea laughter is a good part of life . if there as none nothing would be funny. that's just why I love laughter.
DeleteThe best part of my life is the fact that I am healthy and doing fine.
ReplyDeleteThe worst part of my life took a lot of thought.
DeleteOne of the most important things is staying healthy! I also agree that you are so optimistic! You always see the world as a bright sunny place even on it's darkest days
DeleteWow Nia this really tickled my heart! ive always wanted to be the only child, but now i see from a different perspective. You really made me think twice. If i come a cross a lamp, I know what i am not wishing for!
DeleteNia, great ideas. I also feel awful for the hurt/just deaths. My siblings and I fight a lot but we all love each other no matter what happens. I will be there for you if you need a friend! You are always happy no matter what. Great job.
DeleteExcellent thoughts! I agree with you for the best things in life. It is often those family members and friends that make everything else wonderful! I also can understand why being an only child is tough. I am not an only child, and would never have wanted to be one. I also never wanted my children to be an only child. I can definitely understand where it would be lonely. Great job!
DeleteWow now! Amazing thinking! It really made me think about what my life would be like without my awesome siblings! Well... My awesome sister, i don't know about my brother though. I'm just kidding, even tomhoughr we fight I still love him and he is my influence.
DeleteI do have fights with my siblings a lot, but we make up, majority of the time. But, I always take it into consideration of how bored you get by being the only child. Not saying that it is boring being the only child, but whenever you're lonely and your parents are busy, things start to get boring. You did an outstanding job Nia.
DeleteI know what you mean I feel like a only child sometimes, its so boring! No one to play broad games with no one to play some imagination game with me soooooo I'm forced to video games witch then becomes a habit.
DeleteI wish I was an only child. take my sisters. They annoy me 24\7
DeleteAlthough I have many things in my life that I am very grateful for, I think that if I needed to only choose a few, the BEST days in my life would have to be when my daughters were born, and the day I married my husband.
ReplyDeleteI am very sorry for your loss, i bet he was a great man/father! I am also very happy for you, i hope you enjoy your life with your husband and daughters. Great story, by the way!!!!
DeleteI'm very sorry for your loss!Im sure he was well loved and a great person!I imagine how happy you must have been when your daughters were born
DeleteHey, Mrs. Dybas, I can't imagine how happy I would be becoming a mom. That feeling must be great! I am so sorry about your father. I am so so sorry that he didn't just lay down and peacefully go though. That must have been tough.
DeleteI'm sorry for your loss! Such a sad story! Stay strong.
DeleteThat is super sad I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope your daughters are living wonderful lives with you. Yours was probably one of my favorite so far.
Deletesorry for your lose. He probable was a great man and father. he is most likely sail boating in heaven.
DeleteWow, very moving. I am sorry for your loss. But, it is good you have two great daughters.
DeleteI am very sorry for you loss. I think that my sisters are a big part of my life. I was grateful the day they were born.
DeleteMy mom always tells me how meeting your children is the best day of your life! I am sorry about your father, but he sounds like an amazing person. Great job!
DeleteWow, what a question!
ReplyDeleteNow for my worst day… This one was tough to talk about but here it goes.
I have as well had pneumonia and trust me it is not fun!I also think that you have a very good sense of humor in this piece!I loved it!
Deletesorry i meant 2014...
DeleteHey Nat, I wouldn't want you to be anyone different. You are beautiful and smart in every way. I am so sorry about your Uncle Tim. I didn't know the story. I will be there just 1 seat away from you when your crying. Cry on my shoulder. I know how much he meant to you cause you say it 24/7. Great job!
DeleteVery good job, and I appreciate you opening up. Great job.
DeleteNatalie, I know how you feel I have gone through slit a deaths and it is not fun! Stay strong, great job by the way.
DeleteI feel so bad for your loss. I as well love the day I was born definitely was one of the best days of my life. You did a spectacular job on your comment.
Deletesorry for your lose. If he was your favorite it must have been hard. Me to would be very sad.
DeleteWell, i have next to nothing to say. That is so sad. I can't imagine how sad you must be. Sorry.
Deletethat is sad. I feel bad, but it is just part of life. Eventually you will be up there in heaven with him.
DeleteOh my goodness, Natalie. I feel so bad for you. I'm so sorry that you had to go through this! I bet you Uncle T. was amazing.

ReplyDeleteThe thing I like best about life is that I have family and friend that are there for me. Also that, I have all the things I have and a roof over my head and the good food and water. I mean not everybody has these things. So to be honest I think that I am very lucky. Especially because that my friend are there when I need them. And my family helps me and loves me. That’s what I think is best about my life.
ReplyDeleteThe worst thing about my life is that my sister and I are always fighting.
DeleteGreat job! I agree! Family is a great thing in life!
DeleteGreat job Hailey! I as well fight with my siblings often, too. But, then we start making jokes and it ends very quickly, and normally the arguments are over dumb things, like me taking her pencil when it was mine first.
DeleteHailey M., I agree with you on everything you talked about. Family, friends, having food, having clothing, and having shelter are very important. I hate it very much when I fight with my sister to. It stinks because your mad at someone you love. Great job!!
DeleteHailey M. I feel the same way you do. sometimes my brother and I (your welcome olivia) fight. I dont like that we do, its awful because when we get along we have a great time together!
Deletetry to walk away from your sister when things start to get nasty or talk calmly to her. Or ask your mom to settle everything so that no one gets hurt.
Deleteyea I fight with my sisters a lot also. I agree with john that is what I try to do. I think you should try that.
DeleteI hear of siblings fighting often. I hope that you and your sister do your best to work it out. The good part is that you don't have any other big problems. Like you said, you have shelter, friends, & food/water. Great job!
DeleteThe best thing in my life is that I have friends that support, care, and listen to me.
ReplyDeleteI believe the worst thing in my life is when I have a fight with my closest friends. It really isn’t the best feeling to have, especially when you accidentally started the fight. But, it is nice if they are really are good friends and you make up with them the next day, then that would make myself feel better. I believe those are the best and worst things in my life.
I agree! Friends are amazing and it is not fun to fight with them! Great job
DeleteIt does stink when you fight with friends. You might love and care for them but we all have disagreements. I not saying we should fight I'm just saying we have our differences. But I agree with you. Great work!
DeleteGreat job Katherine! I think that friends are very important in life. They cheer you up and cheer you on, make you laugh, and understand your feelings. Fighting with friends is bad because everyone needs to know what your grumpy about and you tell people which gets them even more mad. Good comment!
DeleteGood job Katherine!!! I love all my friends and hate to fight with them. Especially when its over something stupid, like not being fair in four square!!😄😋😃😊
DeleteI totally agree that family and friends are the best things in life. Great job!
DeleteI hate fighting to right now I'm really mad at my neighbor for a very good reason. But I still like him.
DeleteWow! David must be a great friend. I'm happy for you. Also, I agree fighting is the worst.
Deleteyea I fell that my friends help me up when I am down. My friends are the best. I feel if I didn't have friends I wouldn't be here today.
DeleteI HATE having big fights with the people closest to you. After around 1 day I find myself going up to them like, "Uh, so ummmmmm, you wanna hang out today?" Friends are the best. They will always be there for you.

ReplyDeleteThe thing I like the most in my life is my hamster, Chewbacca.
Good job! I love my hamster too! Pest are by far a great thing to own. And also I don't think anyone likes deaths to be honest! Great job!
DeleteI love pets and they do make your life better. Its fun to play with them. Deaths are tragic. Great job!
DeleteI hope the rabbit wasn't hurt during the incident. Pets are definetely awesome things in life, but sadly I don't have any. I hope both of your pets are in great shape.
DeleteTrust me i LOVE my dogs! And i hate if something passes:(.Great job on your comment!!!
DeletePets are always an important part of your life. Great job!
DeleteI also love pets John. In my opinion, any pet is a mans best friend. My dog Mudge is so cute and snugly and energetic. We wouldn't trade him for the world. I don't like death either. I also think that death is an awful thing. Good job!
DeleteLiving creatures are very sad when they die. Always pay your respects and try to help. Chewbacca sounds cute.(Please note I gave you 3 sentences).
DeleteI love animals in life ad I think it is funny that you named your hamster Chewbacca. I also agree that death is a horrid thing.
DeleteYour hamster sounds really cool. I also am not a fan of the subject of death. All living things must come to an end, but I only enjoy things passing if they pass peacefully. Good job!
DeleteThe part I like most in life is that I get to hang out with friends and family.
ReplyDeleteThe worst part about life is that close friends and family members eventually die. Dybas.
I'm so sorry for your loss Taylor. I hope she is resting in peace. Great job on your comment.
DeleteLife and death...two very commons likes and dislikes throughout this week's comments. The irony in it all is that in order to truly appreciate life, there must be death. If we all lived forever, there would be no true appreciation for the experiences we have in life. Dealing with death is a very heart wrenching experience. The best advice I could give you is to appreciate each and every day because you never know when life is going to change. Great job!
DeleteI agree on all of your "Best" opinions. These things truly make me happy to. As far as your worst go... I'm sorry about your great-grandmother. I lost my great grandmother on April 7, 2015. We loved her and missed her to. Great job!
Deleteyou must miss your GG I bet she was real nice and sweet. But we all have to move on when family members pass.
DeleteI love excitement and surprise! I'm nearly addicted to it! Death really stinks though.
DeleteI feel that a lot of people say death is the worst thing, and I totally agree with them. Death is a bad thing to go through. I am sorry that you lost your grandma though.
DeleteTaylor i am so sorry for your loss of your grandmother. Soon enough you will go to heaven and be with her. And i am guessing she will look as spectacular as ever!! Great job on your essay
DeleteBeing with family and friends is the best. Like I said to Jack, I am not a fan of the subject of death. It is depressing, but all living things must come to an end. I hope that your Great Grandma passed peacefully & that she lived the best life as possibe
DeleteGood question!
ReplyDeleteNow, my worst moment in my life is gonna be very hard to talk about.
I'm so sorry for your loss Makenna. I hope your grandma is resting in peace. Excellent job on your comment.
DeleteLife and death, unfortunately go hand in hand. Great job!
DeleteHey Makenna, good job. I just don't understand. You said that you've never had a bad day, yet you said that you were balling your eyes out when your grandmother passed away. Anyway, great job and sorry for your loss.
DeleteI'm sorry your grandma right but listen to your own advice "Be thankful and never give up hope.
DeleteSorry, death is the worst. But It's good you have such great days. I'm glad you enjoy life.
Deleteyea death is a horrid thing to go through. I have been through it before. that is just what keeps us going.
DeleteMckenna I am so so sorry that you lost your grandmother. I hope you feel better and laugh about all the good times you had together! Soon you ill be up there in heaven looking over all your loved ones just like your grandma! good job on your comment and keep up the good work!!!
DeleteI am so sorry for your Grandma. She sounds like an amazing person. Spending time with friends and family is the best. Great Job!

ReplyDeleteI would have to say my favorite thing about my life is family and friends .My family has always been a big part of my life.
I'm so sorry about Oreo, I hope she is resting in peace. Friends and family are for sure very important, never let go of them. Great job Kayla!
DeleteLife and death are a common topic for many student's comments. You did a very good job expressing your feelings and getting your point across. Losing a loved one, whether it's a human or a furry friend, it still hurts. Hopefully you have wonderful memories of your dog, and those will live in your heart forever. Good Job!
DeleteHi Kayla.
DeleteI'm sorry about Oreo. she was fluffy and cute.
Deleteprobably
DeleteVery relatable. I loved my cat Weiser, and he was suffering a bunch of pain. They put him to sleep while i was at school. It is the worst.
Deleteyea I agree that my friends are a big part of life. they help me up when I am down.
DeleteI once had to put my dog charlie to sleep. I dont want to get into that story but i will say he was a big part of my life. The sad part was that he was only 4. I hope you feel better and he/she is in a better place now, Watching over you!!
DeleteI actually remember this day. You started crying in library & I didn't know why. You finally told me about Oreo. I felt so bad & I still do. You were super upset and it made my heart hurt a bit. I never enjoy these things that we have to go through with pets.
DeleteThe best thing about my life is being born.
ReplyDeleteThe least thing I hate in life are waking up early in the morning.
P>S sorry I changed the wrong word and a sentence has bad grammar, sorry.
DeleteI think that the day each and every one of us born is a pretty terrific day! Great job!
DeleteGreat job Zach! I agree that even being part of this world is great. I am also with you on getting up early. If I can get up and go downstairs when I want, I would wake up at 11:00 and get up at 12:30. ZzzZzzZzzZ. :o <--------- Yawn
DeleteYea, Zach i feel wrong when people are all "i hate life" "I'm hated in this world". That's just disrespectful and wrong. It bothers me.
Deleteyour right I hate wakening up early and sating up late before then.
Deleteyea I agree I always like when people are being born. It is just exciting knowing that someone new is coming in the world.
DeleteI agree with EVERYTHING you said! i hate waking up early, and i love my life! my brother, in middle school, has to wake at 6:00! Its crazy, i could only imagine what he might feel like!!! Good job by the way.
DeleteI too think that life itself is something to be thankful for. Yes, getting up early can be a pain, but it could be MUCH worse.
DeleteI never really ever gave this any thought but if I had to I would say that the best thing about my life is that my house is right by the bay and that we have a boat.
ReplyDeleteI live on the bay as well, and we can hop onto the boat whenever we want. Great job!
DeleteLiving on the bay sounds fun! I like boat rides and fishing. I disagree with you on part of it. I think that siblings can be annoying and mean. But in the end they are always there for you. They will also always love you! Remember that. Anyway, GREAT JOB!
DeleteYea, Nicky is a piece of work, but he loves you. I have been attacked before though. It is a bad experience.
DeleteI know what you mean when you say that your brother is always annoying you I have TWO annoying people in my life that is my sisters. they are always annoying me. I live down the street from the bay I like it a lot.
DeleteDanny, You do have nice house. I remember when I was at your house and I went on the jet ski. It was really fun, you are lucky you get to do it all the time during the summer. I used to think my brother was annoying but now I miss him ALL the time because he lives in North Carolina.
DeleteGreat job! i love living on the water as well. and my brother is a pain in the back! i really liked this one!!
DeleteI enjoy living by the water. Although your brother may be a pain he is your brother & always will be your brother. You can't change that.
DeleteThat’s a very good question.
ReplyDeleteThe thing I dislike is that I must leave them every other weekend to visit my blood-father. Although, I consider him my step-father for the small effort given amount to me. He doesn't pay for any clubs, whatsoever, or any fun activities, but pays for my step-brother’s football.
Sorry I replied so late,
-Brian
Yea Brian, my parents get me all the junk i use once. If i had to pay a pennie for every parent favor... I would be dead.
DeleteBrian, I agree you do have very nice parents. They are always so very generous. I am thankful they let me hang out with you and your family so much. It does stink that you have to leave your wonderful family every other weekend. Sorry about that.
Deleteyea I agree with you brian I also have to leave them every weekend to visit my father. I personally think that my family AND my friends are a reat part of my life. If I didn't have my friends or family I don't think I would be here today.
DeleteI am very sorry to hear about your dad. If I were in that situation, I wouldn't be very happy either. I loved your comment, GREAT job! :)
DeleteI love when my family buys me useless junk. It may not be something I will keep and reassure and love, but at the moment it made me happy so my parents bought it for me. These are the things that I love about parents. They would do almost anything to make you happy.
